it’s taken over a year for me to really voice my frustrations so here goes;
not everyone has the same view of sexuality. i’m psyched for the androgynous, i am psyched for the modest, i’m psyched for anyone who is doing what they want. i support that all the way. gender doesn’t have to play a huge role in anyone’s art/ life really, if you don’t wish it to. i’m proud to be female, and don’t feel like i should be questioned for that mindset either. any occasional nudity shown in my photos of me or anyone else was mine/ their personal choice. a while ago i removed ‘slut’ and the like from my vocabulary. i’m glad that this third wave (or whatever) of feminism backs that so hard too. i don’t think one has to be brazen and proudly nude/ openly sexual to be anti- ‘slut shame,’ i’m just trying to say that i respect anyone with an open mind, no matter if you are on the same kick as me. any close-minded judgement i receive for expressing female sexuality only fuels my fire to keep showing it.
